The Vaults Collection is a selection of the finest and rarest single cask, single malt whisky, set aside from The Scotch Malt Whisky Society’s most remarkable stocks over the years. They have been released from the depths of our treasure trove of casks, after decades of slow maturation and careful nurturing.

The Vaults Collection represents the whisky lover’s dream: A chance to journey back into whisky history, including the opportunity to experience styles or distilleries that no longer exist. Each bottle has a specially designed label and is offered in a beautiful wooden box.

Imagine coming inside after a bracing walk in very cold conditions, you’ve slipped off your comfortable coat crafted from a blend of camel hair and virgin wool, put on your slippers and sat down by the open crackling fire to enjoy figs in syrup, sweet dates wrapped in bacon, mature cheddar cheese and a glass of very old vintage Malmsey Madeira wine.

If you so wish, add a drop of water and you will be rewarded with a classic crêpes Suzette served in a delicious orange and caramel sauce flambé with Grand Marnier.

Delicate and sweet bonfire smoke framed a scene of tranquility as toasted pine nuts, hazelnuts and chocolate-covered marshmallows bobbed in rock pools that reflected the warm glow of a setting sun as it illuminated seagulls wings high above. On a seaweed shrouded rocky outcrop sat a mermaid carefully wrapping antiseptic gauze around an inflamed flipper, surrounded by mussels, oysters and a large box of salted dark chocolates.

A few drops of water delivered sweet smoke from a blazing sugar plantation that wisped over freshly baked bread and buttered toast as the mermaid's medicine combined cloves and camphor with oily fish. Subtle characters fused elderflower and applewood smoke on the sublime finish before ending with creamy notes of smoked barley and burnt milk.
